CALL FOR PAPER
Researchers are invited to submit manuscripts/ articles (4 - 6 pages) online, in the prescribed format, covering the following conference themes (but not limited to) on or before July 30, 2018. Template for the manuscript submission can be downloaded here. All papers, which will be accepted for publication, fully conform to the prescribed format and which can be uniquely associated with at least one of the registered participants will be published in Springer Book Volume (Scopus Indexed). Selected papers (recommended by the session chair) will be endorsed for publication in Journal of The Institution of Engineers (India): Series C (Scopus Indexed) and Journal of Scientific & Industrial Research (SCI).

HOW TO REACH THE VENUE
Air
To reach Shillong by Air, one has to take a flight to Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Guwahati, Assam. From there, one can reach Shillong in three hours by hiring Taxi Rs. 2000/- per car, Approx.) or a shared Taxi (Rs. 500/- per Passenger, Approx.).
Rail
The nearest railway station is Guwahati. From the railway station, one can travel by bus or shared taxi (Rs. 200/- to Rs. 400/- per passenger) to Shillong. It takes about 3 hours to reach Shillong.
Taxi
From Guwahati Railway Station/ Airport, the taxi will drop you at Police Bazar. After reaching, one can hire local taxi to reach the venue (Hotel Pinewood).

Participants may book their own accommodations in nearby hotels in Laitumkhrah and Police Bazar. Some of the names are provided below for your guidance. NIT Meghalaya do not have any kinds of tie-up or arrangement with any of the hotels

ABOUT
International Conference on Recent Innovations & Developments in Mechanical Engineering (IC-RIDME 2018) is going to be held in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, NIT Meghalaya, Shillong, India on November 8 -10, 2018. The conference will provide a global platform for researchers, academicians, scientists, practicing engineers and industry professionals to showcase and deliver their research work, studies, contributions, developments and new concepts related to the field of Mechanical Engineering. The event will consist of keynote lectures in various themes by eminent personalities of respective domains, regular sessions of contributed papers and invited talks. Prospective authors are invited to submit original contributory works, which are not under submission to anywhere else. All papers will undergo blind peer review process and the criteria for acceptance will be based on quality, originality, technical content and relevance.
